Dear Friends,
Greetings in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and may His peace rest on you. Peace is sure what is needed everywhere we go. We are living in the last of the last days where the words of the Apostle Paul in 2 Timothy 3:1 are ringing true: But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come...

Perilous means harsh and disastrous and this is sure happening now. But we are seeing the Lord working in and through these dark times with His light shining through His people.

During these times we must remember that we are to give a helping hand to those in need. Good News has done just that from helping with needed surgery, food, clothing, even helping a brother and sister who lost their truck and Fifth Wheel in a fire. Their RV was their home so this was a huge loss. Good News is helping in the highways and byways both in the natural and spiritual.

During an altar call at one of my services, I was using my prayer cloth and a young boy was totally touched by the power of God. A touch I pray he always remembers as he goes through life. I am telling people to be still and know God is God. Wait on His timing, and then comes unlimited faith!

At another service I spoke on two evils to be careful of ... Forsaking God and Replacing God. We do this when we doubt God’s promises and do things our own way!

We thank each of you for your prayers and support. We could not reach out to others if it weren’t for you! Remember we are only a phone call away if you need us. We pray each day for you. God bless you.

Vic and Judy Baus Good News Ministries

Getting Ready to Hit the Road

Vic works on the 1973 Good News Bus before he and Judy take off on another ministry trip. While checking the tires, Vic noticed one of them had a bad valve core, causing the tire to deflate fast. After Vic replaced the bad valve, Judy noticed him looking at the bus and saying,

“Lord, this is an old bus!
I am losing my contentment!”
Judy gently reminded Vic,
“Now godliness with contentment is great gain!” (I Timothy 6:6)

Food For Thought

The moving of the Spirit is the beginning of life. (Genesis 1:2)
Without the moving of the Spirit, there is no life!

Pastor Ellis and Happyland Say Thanks!

People in the Philippines we serve lack the means for three meals a day. Providing food to needy people has been our emphasis at Happyland as well as providing education for the children.

We appreciate the long time partnership of Good News Ministries! You have been our longest consistent partner, and more than that, our most loving and supportive partner, as there have been many times over the years where we needed counsel, encouragement and a hug and by God's leading, you have always provided that at the right time!

10th Year Writing for Wyoming Paper

Need an Encouraging Word?

Judy sends a short text message to over 200 people each morning. Here’s the one Judy sent August 20:

“Now to him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us” (Ephesians 3.20). We are not limited by our past, family background, education, or anything else in the natural. God’s grace defines who we are and what we can do. our potential is immeasurable. The only thing that can limit us is our faith. Shalom

People Comment:

•Thank you! Just what I needed.

•God knew I needed this.

•This was so uplifting!
