Dear Friends,

Vic and I send greetings from beautiful Wyoming! It’s good to be back in Wheatland where we plan to minister for several months. The Lord has people He wants to experience more of the fullness that He has for them. Our job is to be available and faithful.  I will be preaching and ministering in Wheatland and surrounding places while Vic is busy with Fire on the Water fishing ministry.

Grand Ronde, Oregon

For the last three months we have been traveling the highways and byways. Before leaving California in March we traveled to Oregon to the Grand Ronde Reservation. While preaching Sunday morning, the Holy Spirit stopped me and put on my heart a young man clear in the back. I walked to him and the Holy Spirit gave me a word of knowledge concerning his life. I looked at him and said, “You are not saved are you?” He said No. I said, “Do you want to be?” and he said Yes! Then and there, he received the Lord in his heart, and I continued my message. Many Native Americans came to the altar that morning for a touch from God!

The Lord blessed during the evening service too with many receiving healing and their prayer language. A man wanted to tell me about the young man from the morning service. “He arrived in town the day before,”
he related. “He had told his mom he needed to get his life right. That’s why he was in the service this morning!” God brought this young man from Washington and us from California. God has a plan!

Las Cruces, New Mexico

Next Vic and I headed to Las Cruces for three services. Again, the Holy Spirit brought salvations, healings, deliverances, and many baptisms with the Holy Spirit with the sign of tongues following. A teenage girl in the service had never been to the church before. She knew she needed help for her anger that was getting her into big trouble in school. As I prayed for her, the spirit of anger was broken off her. Her countenance was visibly changed. A few days later, someone called to tell me that a miracle had taken place in this teenager; she was so different. Thank you Jesus!

Winnsboro, Louisiana
In Winnsboro, the Lord again worked His wonders at all five services, bringing His joy, peace, and power to His people. God’s protection was evident when strong winds forced a tree over onto our truck, but with no damage to our truck! God is so good!

Jesus says in Mark 16:17 that this sign of tongues will follow them that believe! We live in very shaky times and need every gift that the Holy Spirit gives to survive. If you don’t have or understand this gift of the Holy Spirit, I urge you to study up on it. It was the only gift given at Pentecost (Acts 2). Paul said not to be ignorant but to desire the spiritual gifts (1 Cor. 12:1 & 14:1).

Thank you for your continued prayers and finances for this ministry. We pray for each of you and know that God is blessing your lives. If you need personal prayer we are just a phone call or e-mail away.

Your gifts will take you places,
but your character will keep you there!
Deliver me, O my God, out of the hand of the wicked, out of the hand of the unrighteous and cruel man. For You are my hope, O Lord God; You are my trust from my youth.” Psalm 71: 4, 5

Scott, a U.S. soldier in Iraq, is safely back in the U.S. Praise God! Pray for each of our troops wherever they may be serving.

More Books Going Into Prisons

Praise fellowship and members purchased many of Judy’s books to be sent to Chaplain Danny Husk for the prisons in Florida.  GNM is working with Chaplain Danny to get Bibles and Judy’s books in the hands of the prisoners.

Vic’s Fire on the Water Update

I just got the boat out of storage for another season of fishing. I am always amazed at how the Lord has it all arranged who He wants to touch with this ministry. He has brought all ages from the young to the old, the believer and nonbeliever to fish with me and I have seen each one touched by the hand of God while holding a fishing pole. I am sure this year will be even better.

2010fishing.jpgDivine Encounter with Young Fishermen Brothers in Kansas

Along our journeys, Vic and I stop for the night at RV parks. We’d set up for the night in Kansas when we noticed a youngster fishing at the lake next to the park. We soon joined him with our poles. Before long his 8-year-old brother Samuel came running out carrying a pole with a huge clump of fishing line all tangled in an awful mess.

He said to his brother Jack, “Could you untangle this for me?”

Then he said to Vic, “Do you go to church?” Vic said yes and laughed as he watched Jack quietly and calmly take a knife and cut the tangles and replace it with a new line.

Isn’t that like life? A tangled mess at times and the Lord patiently and loving untangles our messes for us. It is by His blood that our tangled life is cut away and a new one is put in its place! That is being born again. Samuel shared that he and his brother have Jesus deep in their hearts. While fishing they asked us to pray with them for their sister who has a brain tumor and an older friend on drugs. I also prayed for divine protection because the lake had many water moccasins in it!

Another Divine Encounter

We stopped for the night at our usual place in Louisiana. Several years ago Vic befriended a man who is now 91 years old.  He said he knows Jesus and that heaven is his home. This time Vic gave him my book From Rags to Riches. The next day the man told Vic, “I haven’t read a book in years but I could not put this one down.”  He has a Bible and now we pray he can’t put it down!

There’s not enough space to share about all the divine appointments in the parks!
