Word of the Lord: We must quit looking at things with natural eyes BUT see with our spiritual eyes. How would Jesus see the issue, problem, situation, circumstance or people? How does it line up with our covenant rights? We are bought and paid for with the Blood of Jesus! When we see in the light of our covenant rights, we will live each day believing what the word says and telling the devil to STOP.... The Blood of Jesus is against him and we start declaring and decreeing the word of the Lord. This is how we will change the atmosphere around us, and the atmosphere will not change us.

Vic and Mom

Dear Friends,
We hope you had a great three months. We want you to know we pray for you. Some of you have called us for special prayer; always remember we are just a phone call away. Please feel free to call at anytime. If you do not get us, leave a message and I will get back to you.

I know there is power in the prayer of agreement but so many times we use that power as a last resort when in reality prayer should be our first choice. I believe our Lord wants us all to use that power for ourselves, our brothers and sisters, and always for the unsaved. We live in a nation where we can still pray in public in most places. It is time we take full advantage of that right before it disappears from this country. Time to stand up boldly!

As many of you know my mom (Hazel Plemons) is one of the founders of GN. She heads up the clothing storehouse and our intercessors. Vic and I are helping her through some major health issues. I have learned to do what I teach about the power in prayer. I am very bold to stop everything in the midst of a crisis and pray, no mater who is around. Just as they were taking Mom in for some big tests, I stopped the aides and prayed aloud over Mom right there in the waiting room. Everyone seemed to respect, joined in, or just quietly listened as I prayed in their midst. The prayers not only helped Mom but caused some to think differently about prayer. Never back down because of what others might think, but always keep in mind what GOD is thinking.

The devil might think he can keep you down through sickness or poverty but God has given His children a power greater than the devil — Prayer! Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much (James 5:16). James is saying we need to make sure we have no root of sin lodging in us. Sin is missing the mark. Doubt and disbelief is sin. Confess it, let it go, and come into agreement with Faith.....Then our prayers will have energy attached to them.

We can have boldness when we pray because 1 John 4:4 says, You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. We are not denying that something has come on us or to us but we are defying it to stay with us.... We are of God! We live in this world but are not of this world.

Thank you for your love, prayers, and support. The fruit of this ministry is a result of your faithful partnership. May the blessings of God overtake you!

Judy's Books

From Rags to Riches (autobiography)
Faith, Does It Really Move Mountains?
On the Road again with God.

And her latest book soon to go to the printer, The Path of the Spirit.

Some of the places Good News donates Judy’s books to are jails and RV park libraries. One leader of a Bible study at an RV park in Delta Shores, California wrote Judy asking for more copies of her book on Faith. She said she uses the book in her teaching. She also gives out the Rags to Riches to people in the park.

An inmate from Elmwood County Jail wrote Judy, “I am reading your awesome book Faith, Does It Really Move Mountains? Can you please send me a Bible?” Judy was glad to send this inmate a Bible.

“I love to get these letters to share with you about how the books placed in prisons and jails all over the U.S.A. are changing lives,” Judy said.

Reaching Out

“He who gives to the poor will not lack, but he who hides his eyes will have many curses.” (Proverbs 28:27) — GN stands by this verse says Vic Baus, GNM Co-Founder and President

Vic being prayed overSan Jose CA....The Lord directed Vic and me to those looking for work. These people are not homeless yet, but wait for hours at the lumber yards for someone to need their skills. They were very pleased to see us come with various items to make their lives better and also for their families. We always give my books that show how nothing is impossible for God, plus Bibles, Book of John, lunches, water, socks, toiletries... And we pray over each person.

Filipino Pre-School Grads!

filipino pre-school gradsHappyland Learning Center and Feeding program.

Preschool graduations were a grand celebration of the students achievements and their parents’ commitment to their future! Happyland is now having Vacation Bible School with emphasis on evangelism and youth leadership. Pastor Ellis says, “Thank you GN for your loving support. We are seeing much fruit as the youth are conducting VBS!”

Keep Our Military in Prayer

Pray for Jessica and Unit in Kuwait. We thank all of our military for their service. They need our prayers. We are delighted to bring joy to their hearts by sending Jessica and her Unit packages of goodies.

Santa Cruz, CA...The Lord directed us to the homeless. I went up to a man sitting on some grass and gave him a lunch. I told him Jesus loves him. He started to cry and said, “Pray for me. Jesus loves me so much that He opened housing for me and a friend.” What a joy to pray with him. I also gave him a lunch for his friend.

Powerful Meetings

Since our last newsletter, we held powerful Holy Spirit meetings in Reno, Corning CA, and Chico CA and in the highways and byways. Everywhere Vic and I go, the Holy Spirit wants us to share about the love of Jesus and His soon return. Are we ready? Are we diligently seeking HIM? As children of God, we have the only hope for the world — living hope — because of the resurrection of Jesus. We have a mandate as believers to share with people around us. Be ready! Nothing is more exciting for a believer than for the Lord to shine through us to a very dark world.

GN Home Group in Wheatland Wyoming!

Frank and Terry Huffer have been long time advisors for GNM. In this GN Home Group, Terry teaches the fullness of the Gospel and the power of the Cross. In their meetings, they are seeing power in prayer and worship. If you are in Wheatland and need a touch from the Lord, give Terry a call and join them.

Like to Knit?

Knit for GNM! Tracy Pyke, our GN webmaster, and her daughter started a “Knitting for GN Group.” Tracy came up with a pattern that doubles as a sack for lunches and as a hat to help the homeless in the cold. See knitting pattern at our GN website
