Concerned One: Digital Dollar?

Dear Judy,

Do you know about the digital dollar or what to do if our banks close? I get my check from the government and do not know what to do?

Dear Concerned One,

First, yes, uncertain days are ahead of us. I do not know anything about the digital dollar, but one thing I do know, our Lord has, is, and will always take care of His Children! I am going to assume you are a follower of Jesus, but if you are not, you need to be. For the unbeliever, times of tribulation are here now and will get even worse in all areas of life. But if you are a believer, listen to what Jesus says: These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world. (John 16:33)

Definitions of tribulation include “pressure, anguish, burden, persecution, or trouble.” It’s true, lots of unknowns are coming our way that we will not understand, not just concerning our money but other things in life, but the Lord is our refuge and strength in times of trouble.

I see people stockpiling food and all kinds of stuff, and maybe there’s no harm in that if that’s what they want to do, but we are to live by faith. "Now the just shall live by faith; but if anyone draws back, My soul has no pleasure in him." (Hebrews 10:38) Faith is to have confidence in Jesus Christ and Him alone, not in what is happening around us.

Many Christians live on a fixed income, but our Lord is not on a fixed income! He is unlimited! And He is the ONE who will always cause us to prosper -- no matter what the banks do! He is trustworthy!

"For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind" (2 Timothy 1:7).

I go to church, and I also listen to services online. It seems to me there is a trend toward thinking that hell is not real. Is this true? Is there a real hell?

That is a question often asked by new believers. The Bible is very clear about this. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. John 3:16

Many people are confused by this question. But before I answer it, I want to make clear that there is a real heaven and a real hell! Everyone goes to one place or the other—their choice! So, no, everyone does not go to heaven, but everyone will go somewhere when they die.

We need to rise in gratefulness and thanksgiving to our Lord and Savior. We need to praise Him more than we ever have. Like no other time has it been more important that we be in our manual for success, the Bible. We need to know for a fact that if we should die today, we are going to heaven. Heaven and Hell are real,

So many horrible things are happening in our world today—children and adults gunned down in the middle of prayer, lives being destroyed by wars, famines, floods, fires, absolute madness– and if we allow ourselves to focus totally on these things, fear can totally take over and then we will become victims instead of a v

We are eternal beings, and we shall live for eternity somewhere! If we think we are saved, we are not! We must KNOW without a shadow of a doubt that we are born from above and have both an earthly address and a heavenly address. This is done by accepting Jesus as our Savior and living for HIM!
