Heaven or Hell? It is a Choice!

We are living in tough times. Where do we go for help when a crisis hits our life or the lives of our family?

How about the words, “You are going to die!” Do you know where you’re going when you die? As a minister, people often ask me this question. Readers, I ask you, if you should hear the statement, “Get your things in order; you are going to die,” do you know for certain where you are going?

Many people are concerned about having a Living Trust or a Will, but have no Idea what will happen to them when they die. Having your life in order is not just a Living Trust or Will . . . it is knowing Heaven is your home.

When our earthly journey is over, we will spend it in one of two places — Heaven or Hell. People say, “Judy, I do not believe in Hell” or “I do not want to talk about it.” We do not hear much from the pulpits about hell but a whole lot about God’s love! Yes, He is love but that does not take away the fact that Jesus talked about Hell a lot! Read your Bible.

The Book of John very clearly tells us that the Savior came: For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved (John 3:16-17). These are great Scriptures to mediate on. Every human being must believe in Jesus Christ if he or she is not to be condemned by God. Not just mental assent but to believe means to be fully assured and convinced He is the only one who gives eternal life and that He went to the cross for our sins . “ Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me’” ( John 14:6) . Belief in Jesus as our Savior and Lord is the most important decision we could ever make in our life.

If you do not have a Bible (our manual for success), then you need to get one. Start reading it. That is how I came to the decision that when I leave this earth, I want Heaven as my eternal home and not Hell. I am an evangelist and I do not sugar coat eternal decisions. Make the right one today. Our only hope is Jesus Christ. Then go tell others.

Well, let me start with the most important thing you bring up. I noticed the word I THINK in your question. Just because you go to church does not mean you are a born-again believer.

I know I am supposed to be joyful this time of the year, but I am not! It all seems so plastic and empty to me, even in the church! Feeling Pretty Empty

Have you ever thought about the word “wilderness” and what that means for the Christian and the non-Christian? To be a Christian we must believe—which is to trust and have confidence that Jesus Christ died on the cross for the sins of the world and rose again! Romans 10:9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

STAY WATCHFUL! I am sure we can all agree, 2025 started off with much tragedy and woe! Terrorist attacks killing many, devastating fires in the LA area, a horrible plane and helicopter collision, and another plane crash two days later! Many families in mourning. Truly, the devil is out to steal, kill, and destroy, and sadly, he’s doing a good job at it. But remember, our Lord is far greater than the devil, and He is ultimately in control.

Christianity 101—Life with God after Salvation We are living in very tough times that are only getting harder. As followers of Jesus, we should be strong in the Lord and full of faith, experiencing the God of the impossible. But are we? Jesus said in Matthew 19:26, “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” I believe Jesus is looking at us and our fellowships and asking if we truly believe this. Are we living this Scripture out to a watching world?

We are living in some very dark, wild times. Our manual for success (the Bible) tells us to know the seasons in which we live. We must be alert and watchful and know and understand how our success manual tells us to have success.
