Those who love have known that were a sinner and that Jesus paid the price on the cross for our sin. Now we are not old poor sinners any longer but saints that do sin. Sin means miss the mark or be an offense. Every believer will do that remember Jesus calling Peter who had just had a revelation of Jesus is the Christ how he became an offence to Jesus. Matthew 16:23 But He (Jesus) turned and said to Peter, "Get behind Me, Satan! You are an offense to Me, for you are not mindful of the things of God, but the things of men." We all do walk that path at times because we allow the things of man to come in when we do not have our MIND FULL of the things of God. So we are quick to repent. Our fellowship building is not the church we are!!!!!
We are to discern what is of God and what is of the world because we bring into the fellowship those things. In Ephesians 6:10-18 it talks about standing and know it is not people we are wrestling with but the demonic. Let go of people and put it back on the source. It also talks about putting on the whole armor of God~ Why does the Holy Spirit say whole armor 2 times because it is possible to only put on part of God’s Armor. That will not work. The very first piece of the armor is truth. Gird yourself with the belt of truth. Notice yourself.. no one will do that for you. The Truth is the word of God. If we do not have truth firmly in place none of the other pieces will be correctly placed. We will then not be able to stand against the schemes of the devil.
We have to
know the word of the Lord to know what truth is! The truth says in
John 10:10
The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill,
and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.
In the body of Christ I see the enemy stealing
our fervency in prayer and reading His word, killing our confidence, destroying
our watchfulness. He is causing us to be
complacent lazy and compromising! Jesus
has come to give us an abundant life full of fervency, confidence, and
watchfulness.
Isaiah 42:18-19 "Hear, you deaf; And look, you blind, that you may see. Who is blind but My servant, Or deaf as My messenger whom I send? Who is blind as he who is perfect, And blind as the LORD'S servant? It was happening in Isaiah day and it is happening in ours. He is talking to HIS people and if we allow the Holy Spirit to take the scales off our eye then we will be able see truth clearly and understand to live totally for Christ then others will want what we have.
To
them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery
among the Gentiles: which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. Colossians
