Strange Times

We are living in very strange times. I am a follower of the Lord, and I know what the Bible says about the end time. This is something every believer should know.

But I must say this came as a surprise to me all the virus stuff and the reaction from so many people everywhere. I know it is a true struggle for many who have had this virus, but no matter what the sickness, disease, or crisis, there is a true struggle.

As believers we have a living hope and His name is Jesus. Whatever comes our way, He is with us and we are with Him!

The determination of relying on and being a doer of the promises of God is what will see us through. We are foolish if we read or hear the Word of God and do not do what it says. But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. (James 1:22) Obedience is the key to victory!

When this pandemic is all over, something else will appear on the horizon to try to sidetrack us from standing in faith. That is because this side of heaven we will always have conflict! The enemy is about us giving up our hope and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. It’s a choice. No matter what comes our way, choose to stand firm on the promises of God and help others come to Him. Time is winding down and Jesus is coming back. Heaven and Hell are very real, so I tell people wherever I go to get right with God before it is too late!

Well, let me start with the most important thing you bring up. I noticed the word I THINK in your question. Just because you go to church does not mean you are a born-again believer.

I know I am supposed to be joyful this time of the year, but I am not! It all seems so plastic and empty to me, even in the church! Feeling Pretty Empty

Have you ever thought about the word “wilderness” and what that means for the Christian and the non-Christian? To be a Christian we must believe—which is to trust and have confidence that Jesus Christ died on the cross for the sins of the world and rose again! Romans 10:9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

STAY WATCHFUL! I am sure we can all agree, 2025 started off with much tragedy and woe! Terrorist attacks killing many, devastating fires in the LA area, a horrible plane and helicopter collision, and another plane crash two days later! Many families in mourning. Truly, the devil is out to steal, kill, and destroy, and sadly, he’s doing a good job at it. But remember, our Lord is far greater than the devil, and He is ultimately in control.

Christianity 101—Life with God after Salvation We are living in very tough times that are only getting harder. As followers of Jesus, we should be strong in the Lord and full of faith, experiencing the God of the impossible. But are we? Jesus said in Matthew 19:26, “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” I believe Jesus is looking at us and our fellowships and asking if we truly believe this. Are we living this Scripture out to a watching world?

We are living in some very dark, wild times. Our manual for success (the Bible) tells us to know the seasons in which we live. We must be alert and watchful and know and understand how our success manual tells us to have success.
