The NOW!

What is living in the now? I know people in the world and of the world do not understand that statement.

People without Christ are the ones I am talking about because Christians live in the world BUT are not of the world. We are no longer of the world because we are born again and now are part of the Kingdom of God. We are called from living, acting, and thinking as the world, and to live, act, and think by God’s principles.

Living in the now to us means letting go of yesterday with all of its mistakes or accolades. Yesterday is over and we learn from failures and success but they no longer rule our life. I hear Christians go on and on about what they should have done, did not do, or did do. Others constantly live in the tomorrows with all of its unknowns and what ifs.

The only way to live this life successfully is God’s way, living in the NOW. We cannot undo or redo the past and we cannot control tomorrow. I am not saying we do not plan for tomorrow both physically and financially. We live each day as if Jesus is returning any moment, but plan till He comes. Jesus said So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, “Do business till I come” (Luke 19:13).

I like to see the word NOW as a choice I make each day… N--N eed O--O bey W--W ord NOW.

For the Christian the Word of God is our manual for success. If we read it each day, we need to obey it. Before I was afflicted I went astray , but now I keep Your word (Psalm 119:67). Yesterday is over and tomorrow has not come, but NOW is here.

Let’s wake up each morning ready to live life full of HOPE which includes love, peace, and joy! Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit (Romans 15:13).

Well, let me start with the most important thing you bring up. I noticed the word I THINK in your question. Just because you go to church does not mean you are a born-again believer.

I know I am supposed to be joyful this time of the year, but I am not! It all seems so plastic and empty to me, even in the church! Feeling Pretty Empty

Have you ever thought about the word “wilderness” and what that means for the Christian and the non-Christian? To be a Christian we must believe—which is to trust and have confidence that Jesus Christ died on the cross for the sins of the world and rose again! Romans 10:9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

STAY WATCHFUL! I am sure we can all agree, 2025 started off with much tragedy and woe! Terrorist attacks killing many, devastating fires in the LA area, a horrible plane and helicopter collision, and another plane crash two days later! Many families in mourning. Truly, the devil is out to steal, kill, and destroy, and sadly, he’s doing a good job at it. But remember, our Lord is far greater than the devil, and He is ultimately in control.

Christianity 101—Life with God after Salvation We are living in very tough times that are only getting harder. As followers of Jesus, we should be strong in the Lord and full of faith, experiencing the God of the impossible. But are we? Jesus said in Matthew 19:26, “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” I believe Jesus is looking at us and our fellowships and asking if we truly believe this. Are we living this Scripture out to a watching world?

We are living in some very dark, wild times. Our manual for success (the Bible) tells us to know the seasons in which we live. We must be alert and watchful and know and understand how our success manual tells us to have success.
